This post is more directed towards Chris than anyone else, but I welcome all advice!
Chris - Think back years ago to that hunch punch you made for one of the many parties you threw at Glenn Gratten. Do you remember how you made it (the hunch punch with the fruit)? And how much stuff you used? I'm hoping to do a punch for my party on Wednesday and I have about a 12 gallon sized cooler.
I need ideas for a relatively cheap punch that has some strong alcohol in it so I can get some ladies drunk, damn it! |

Back in Auburn and back to work...which is good b/c I need the money vair badly.

I survived Friday, obviously. But it was not pleasant.
To explain: I had been doing a bunch of French homework the night before, because it was due by midnight, Friday. Well, I check my TigerMail Friday morning only to discover I have a 20-25 sentence composition due in French AND an oral interview session with my teacher at 12:00.
I really freaked out, because it was 9:00 when I checked TIgermail, plus I was supposed to workout with Megan at 9:30 for about an hour or so.
Of course that got pushed until later on in the afternoon, and I worked like crazy to write the composition and study enough to know what to say to the teach come interview time.
As a result of pushing back my workout, my calves now hurt like a bitch.
I don't really update my LJ anymore and it's kinda sad, because I do update my myspace a lot. And when I first started, I didn't think I'd abandon this journal as much as I have.
Look at me, I talk like my journal has feelings. I'm crazy.
Exams are coming up. I have four to take, two on Monday the 12th, and two on Tuesday, the 13th. Yeah...that's not cool. I believe they both start out early morning too. :(
BUT! At least they aren't on Saturday. Saturday exams are the worst, because they make you feel like you haven't had a weekend at all.
Ok, I'm reaching here. Not much to update on my life really, I guess.
Brutus (the Bronco) is in Auburn with me. I drove down to Montgomery and traded cars. I LOVE driving the Bronco, it's a guilty pleasure. I don't care that it's a '91 model or that it has over 200,000 miles on it, it's big and comfy and I love love love it.

Eli is driving me up a wall.
Every morning at 4am or somewhere around there, I wake up to him playing with something in the room or under my bed. It'll be paper or a top to a make-up container that I thought I'd lost...anything. Drives me crazy! I already have a problem just sleeping through the night, this makes it worse.
Sooo I get up and either throw him out of my room and shut the door, or I pick up whatever he's playing with and throw it away/put it up where he can't get it.
grr, playful cats.
ok. end rant.
I bought a cute pajama shirt today to sleep in. It's really comfy and long sleeved so I'll be warm in the winter. It's white and red striped with a white heart on the front. I looooove it. Put it on immediately after I got home.
I got the shoes for my Halloween costume Sunday. It's getting closer! oooh I can't wait!! I hope it'll be fun. I fully intend to milk it for all it's worth.

This past weekend was GREAT. I haven't had such a relaxing and fun time, with no drama in....I don't know how long. Granted I could have done without the hours of french homework, but oh well.
Jessica's birthday went off really well. It was cool seeing Katherine again and meeting her new girlfriend, Jessica. She was really nice and when I told Kat that sex party round 2 was needed, she was all for it. It shall be planned! I'm really excited.
Anyways, we had Chili's, then headed over to Elizabeth's so Jess and Liz could change. Had a drink there, then drove out to 1048. I hadn't been there before, and the place wasn't that bad. I liked the set up, actually.
I got to see all my Montgomery friends whom I haven't seen in forever. Twas lovely and much fun was had.
Except for the loud football fan who Bret pawned me off on. Thanks. Luv you too.
Ran into Steven Verres from high school. Which was random. I haven't seen him since graduation. Herb Stevenson too. Apparently he's Lindsey's next door neighbor (weird!).
When 1048 closed, all of us went over to Lindsey's house and continued drinking and talking. I picked up Earl and carried him like a baby. Then went home around 4:45.
Sunday - woke up at 12 and my dad had brought me lunch from Quizno's! (aww!) I stayed around til mid-afternoon, then headed back up to Auburn. Heather and I hung out some, but I had homework, so it was back to the apt and study time.
But then the best part of the night came - Kari called and told me Sean and Chris were in town. That they, plus Lindsey and Christy were all hanging out over at Elmo's house.
It was so much fun! I haven't seen Chris since the sex party (and he will be attending the second one of course) and Sean even longer. We all hung out, watched some Grey's Anatomy that Elmo had playing, then played this tackling game?? I don't know. I had Chris call and wish Jessica a happy birthday, since she's his "wife." And I had sex with Kari. Towards the end of the night, we all got hungry and headed over to Waffle House. Talked about old times, it was really nice.
I didn't get into bed until 4 though (whoops!) and soooo, yeah. No training for me this morning. But it's cool. Megan and I will just reschedule.
So that was my lovely weekend! Now I'm doing laundry and about to start on my Italian Lit homework that's due tonight. I think we're watching Casanova in class...not sure though. Time to get away though. |

I bought a necklace today that I probably shouldn't have...but I loved it too much. that's my defense.
I have a test tomorrow that I am sorta-trying not to freak out about.
Thursday will be busy. I have a French test on Friday at 12 and I have to work tomorrow night during the Auburn vs SC game. I'm semi-excited, yet dreading the fact I might not get enough study time in.
I'm addicted to White Chocolate Mocha Espresso's from Starbucks. I blame Will and Ellory.
I cannot wait for the weekend. Jessica's birthday and this week will be OVER. woot! No more homework, or at least not much...
Work tonight was boring.
I've missed two of my favorite shows...and one of them was a premiere to a new season. :(
I'm thinking about a certain guy more than I should. That's never a good thing. Especially when they don't return the feelings.
Lauren keeps harping that I need to find myself a boyfriend. Eh, I'm not that worried about it. But it does get to be frustrating when she wants to make all these "couple" trips. She wants to go to the beach sometime this month before the cold starts settling in. I really would like to go, I love the beach and my aunt stacy's beach house.
I had my toenails done this weekend, and I love the color (it's a deep red with a hint of gold and slight pink)...but I do feel a little goth when I look at my toes. Because my skin is so white and my toes are so dark. Another reason for a nice beach trip. Last time was really fun, with just me, Lauren and Courtney hitting up livebait and meeting Alex, Andy, and two other guys whose names slip my mind.
The sunburn maybe not so much, but that was when we came home anyways.

Work was hardly busy at all today. It was weird not being packed to the max with odd people.
I luckily got off before the "big rush" hit after the game let out. Bwahahaha! Take that Chris!
Went to see Fly By Radio at Highlands. It was awesome. They are vair kickass. And all of them are hot. Including the chick.
Unfortunately...I did have a random weird guy who wouldn't stop dancing with me. Who dances like an insane kangaroo to No Doubt's "Spiderwebs"??
And I also had to pinch a guy's nipple to get him out of my way. Didn't know him at all. I had just come out of the bathroom with the intention of leaving b/c of said creepy guy above and because my feet hurt, when this guy wouldn't let me out of the "dance room" to get to my car.
So I pinched his nipple and was like "Bitch! Get out of my way!"
...I lie. I really didn't do that.
Well, I did pinch his nipple, but I didn't tell him to get out of the way.
I hate when my hair smells like smoke and stale booze. Nasty.
Other than that? Tonight was pretty cool. Again: I love Fly By Radio.

It's the second full week of school.
I finally got all the classes I needed. Here's what I'm taking:
MWF :
French 2 at 12
Principles of Marketing at 1
Literature of Italian Lovers 5-8 (it's one of those one-day-a-week classes. but I'm kinda sad because there is a spanish guy in there who is HOT. and I never thought I'd be so attracted to a guy with braces)
TR:
Ethnographic Methods 12:30
Yeah, all of it's very random. But when the bursar's office screws up your tuition and drops all your classes at the last minute, what can ya do?
Other then that, nothing much has been going on in my life. I get up every morning to work out, go to school, and depending on which day it is, I work nights.
Specifically I've been working a lot of weekend nights.
Believe me, that's about to change. I'm tired of having NO free time during my weekends to visit friends. Not to mention with football season coming up? Something's gonna have to happen.
I'm not going to the first game of the year (again) because of work.
I really should be paid extra for all the major events I work there.
UFC this past Saturday wasn't bad at all. Granted, we were better prepared, but still. I kinda missed the hecticness. There's always the one in October though...
Nip/Tuck starts next week! I can't wait!

I am terribly sunburned (although it doesn't hurt that much anymore). Went swimming in overcast weather and thought it wouldn't be too bad since I wasn't going to be out there long.
Clearly, I was wrong.

Ellory and I went to see Talladega Nights yesterday. It was really funny, one of Will Ferrell's better movies. It makes me want to see Old School again, since I haven't seen it in a while and have completely forgotten how it goes.
School :(
Starts tomorrow. Noooo! I haven't had a long enough break from summer school!!!
I've only signed up for two classes since all the others I'd like to take are full. BUT! My plan: show up for the classes I'd like and hopefully get into them. That's the best I can do. There's always at least one kid who drops out for some reason or another.
umm. not much else to say.
I watched Domino yesterday. I loved it.
Keira was awesome. Choco was hot. The hair? Up down up down up down I LOVED IT. Whenever he shook it out? um, yus please!

First of all, something happened to my myspace account, so my layout and all my info was erased. Yeah, thanks myspace. Love you too. Now I'm stuck with some rainbow starred background until I can find the time and energy to go about rewriting and changing all that crap.
Second, I have found out that Eli can get to his cat food.
All his meowing at me at like, 6 in the morning to feed him, when apparently he can get to it himself.
Not to mention the fact that after I ignored him this morning, he threw up in the hallway. A sort of 'Well fuck you too, bitch!' kind of thing
Ok weird, he just hissed at the trashcan in my bathroom.
Next, the exterminator guy came last week and sprayed all around the apartment for bugs. So lately, they've been coming out (also because it's been so dry) and I've been killing them. The past couple of days it's been a cockroach and two spiders.
This afternoon my leg starts itching and oh look! it's a spider bite.
So I've also had spiders fondling my leg in the night and biting it. I probably swallowed it (the spider, not my leg) too if the whole you-eat-8-spiders-a-night theory is correct
On the plus side, I bought much-needed groceries tonight and cleaned out my fridge. Threw out some old leftovers, cleaned up my room a bit.
I need to do a more thorough cleaning job though. It's time to work on the bathrooms and vacuum and stuff.
The next couple of weeks are going to be crazy. Lauren's birthday is tomorrow, Lisa's is Saturday, finals are coming up, I'm trying to plan a trip to Nashville to visit Heather on the 6th, try to help Jess move in on the 11th, Amanda's wedding on the 12th, then it's school again the 16th. jeez!
But at least it's closer to football season. |

I just got back from the Beach. It was so much fun! and the weather was beautiful.
Aunt Stacy's beach house? Um, ok. It is the shit. No doubt about it and if anyone ever wants to go on a beach trip with me, that is where we are going to go. Because it's like...30 yards from the beach? And it's private so it's quiet and relaxing. Although if you wanted to check out any other hot people your age it's rare to find them. More families and stuff than college kids, which kinda sucks.
But then you have the bars. Lauren, Courtney and I hit up Live Bait and st ayed til closing time. We met four guys there: Alex, Tommy, Noel and Andy. They came and laid out with us yesterday. All very good times.
Lauren and I also saw Superman Returns.
Yum. mmm Brandon Routh.
The movie was good. Just to throw that in for those who care.
Annnd to end my weekend....
Chris, my brother, is engaged! Crazy!! The wedding is supposedly 9 months from now.
please please please don't let Hilary pick ugly bridesmaid dresses (which I'm sure she won't, but still...) |
